She brings her experience as a former Oregon Department of Justice attorney to bear in finding creative solutions to problems with regulators. She advises providers and CCOs on complex compliance, reimbursement, rate-setting, and governance matters. She also regularly advises Medicaid providers on Medicaid audits and self-disclosures and is adept at working with OHA regulators to achieve results for her clients.

Tim advises insurers in transactional and compliance matters related to the Insurance Code and Holding Company Act, including Form A filings, internal investigations, self-disclosures, and control issues. He assists with expansion applications and advises carriers regarding legislative and regulatory changes.

We also advise providers, payors and private equity firms regarding the federal Anti-Kickback Statute and its many complexities. We work to help our clients understand the nuances of the law and ways to reduce and avoid risk while still achieving their objectives.
Behavioral Health
We have worked with behavioral health providers for over 25 years and are knowledgeable on the laws and regulations that impact this community. We regularly advise community mental health programs, certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics, residential treatment providers and other mental health and substance use disorder providers on issues such as Medicaid reimbursement, SAMHSA grant requirements, licensure, and 42 CFR Part 2.
